The ACE Intermountain Recycling Center Story
Building a Cleaner Tomorrow – One Transfer at a Time.
“Locally Owned, Environmentally Driven – Keeping Northern Utah Sustainable Since 2015.”
In 2015, ACE Recycling & Disposal and Intermountain Regional Landfill (IRL) came together with a shared vision to create a waste transfer solution that prioritizes efficiency, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. From that vision, ACE Intermountain Recycling Center (AIRC) was born—a company designed to support businesses, municipalities, industry, and commercial recycling and disposal. Today, AIRC operates Three state-of-the-art transfer stations across Northern Ut, including the largest transfer facility in the state, located in Salt Lake City. Our locally owned and operated team is dedicated to ensuring a cleaner, more efficient waste disposal process that benefits customers and the environment.

“Award Winning Sustainable Solutions.”
We have a passion for keeping our environment clean. As a local company, we treat waste as if it’s in our own backyard. Because it is. The location of our transfer stations reduces the number of smaller trucks traveling to the landfill. That results in less traffic, lower emissions, less wear and tear on the roads, and less noise. We carefully follow an industrial stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP). We remove hazardous materials, rather than sending them to the landfill. We recycle clean cardboard and metals. We offer recycling in the construction and demolition arena, including providing LEED load documentation for contractors. We operate at the highest levels and are in good standing with all state and federal regulations.
We’re proud to partner with Twin River, a Utah company that processes expired bakery items for use as cow feed. AIRC’s high standards of cleanliness was the reason that Twin River we were the best choice to support their stringent process of removing non-food-based waste.
“Our innovative partnership was awarded the Utah Business 2020
Green Business Award for Waste and Recycling.”

“Proudly Serving and Sustaining the Communities We Serve.”
Our dedication to the community was one of the reasons we were awarded the “Relationships Matter” award from the Pleasant Grove-Lindon Chamber of Commerce in 2020. We were the first business to be awarded this category. AIRC has also sponsored other events such as Concerts in the Park, Drive-Thru Trick or Treating, and the Pleasant Grove Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament. We’re actively looking to partner with civic organizations in our community.
If you have a charity, community organization, or local event that might benefit from a relationship with AIRC, please contact us. Thank you.
